Cover a Prepaid Overage from the Next Block
Prepaid hour blocks don't always end neatly between time entries — a block can run out partway through a piece of work, leaving the remainder showing at the standard rate in the billing review even though the client has since purchased a new block.
The monthly billing review now handles this directly. Any entry that outgrew its block shows a prepaid overage label, and a new action covers the remaining time from the client's other active blocks — oldest first, the same order used when time is entered. The remainder is deducted once, the entry bills as fully prepaid, and the block balances and billing detail PDF all stay in agreement.
The action is careful by design: it re-checks the ledger before every change, only ever deducts the still-uncovered minutes, and tells you plainly if the client's blocks don't have enough balance — in which case the remainder simply continues to bill at the standard rate.
